2. How Google Consent Mode v2 Works on MapMelt

Before any advertising script executes, MapMelt initializes gtag('consent', 'default', ...) with ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, and analytics_storage set to denied by default. Only when you explicitly opt in via the consent banner or the control center above does MapMelt emit gtag('consent', 'update', ...) and update the IAB TCF v2.2 responder.
